Is your wellness wheel balanced or wonky? ✨
Balancing our wellness wheel can help us find the wellbeing we’re looking for
Hello! This week we’re talking about health.
In my eating disorder, I thought my health was based almost entirely on controlling my weight. Of course I intellectually realized there were other aspects of wellness, but my unbalanced approach and unconscious beliefs kept me stuck in cognitive distortions about what it meant to pursue health.
I was trying so hard, but my efforts were actually interfering rather than improving my health and wellness.

This week, consider whether there are areas of your health and wellness that are unbalanced. Are there things in your life that you’re trying really hard at but aren’t helping you feel confident and secure? If so, maybe the answer isn’t to try harder doing the same things you’ve been doing, but to take your foot off the gas and look for other solutions.
If you’re a paid subscriber, I’ve got a worksheet to help you explore this idea.
